Representatives of the two sessions hotly discussed the development of UHV advantages
since the winter of 2009, the national power coal is in urgent need, and Hubei, Chongqing, Henan and other provinces and cities in Central China have been forced to cut off power. The UHV AC test demonstration project continues to deliver 2million kW of power, with a maximum transmission capacity of 2.5 million KW and an average daily power transmission of 50million kwh, equivalent to 25000 tons of raw coal per day, which has played a vital role in alleviating the contradiction of power shortage in Central China. However, how to fundamentally solve the above problems, as well as how to effectively promote the construction of energy bases in the West and North, representatives of the national two sessions this year launched a heated discussion around the follow-up construction of UHV. Representatives from both sending and receiving regions generally believed that accelerating UHV construction in an all-round way was of great significance to promote the large-scale development of clean energy, realize the adjustment of energy structure and promote the development of low-carbon economy. It was the fundamental measure to solve the tense contradiction of coal and power transportation in China, and it was also an important measure to change the mode of power development

UHV solves the urgent problem of coal burning in Central China
the State Power Corporation organized the UHV AC test demonstration project in a timely manner to continuously transmit 2million kW of power, equivalent to 25000 tons of raw coal per day, It has played a vital role in alleviating the power shortage in Central China
the first UHV project of State Grid Corporation of China was very successful, which helped us solve big problems. On January 21, at the 2010 work conference of Hubei electric power company, Duan lunyi, vice governor of Hubei Province, specially expressed his gratitude to the state power company on behalf of the provincial government
since the winter of 2009, the national power coal is in urgent need, and Hubei, Chongqing, Henan and other provinces in Central China have been forced to cut off power. Facing the severe power supply and demand situation, the State Power Corporation of China timely organized the UHV AC test demonstration project to continuously transmit 2million kW of power, with the maximum transmission power of 2.5 million KW and the average daily transmission power of 50million kwh, equivalent to 25000 tons of raw coal per day
On February 6, the problem of tight transportation of coal, electricity and oil in Central China is not an accidental problem this year, but a persistent disease for many years. Xie Mingliang, deputy to the National People's Congress and chairman of the board of directors and Secretary of the Party group of Huazhong Power Co., Ltd., said that from the perspective of power supply and demand from 2003 to 2009, the power supply of Huazhong Power Co., Ltd. is very tight in the dry season (January to March, November to December) every year. Except that in 2006, due to the decline in power consumption in high energy consuming industries and the slowdown in the growth rate of power demand, there were a lot of power rationing during the dry season in other yearsthe major installed ratio of hydropower and the lack of coal resources are the main causes. Xie Mingliang analyzed that due to the lack of coal resources and the obvious seasonality of hydropower resources, the primary energy in Central China often cannot meet the needs of long-term development of electricity until customers operate correctly. Every year, central China needs to import a large amount of energy from outside areas, especially power coal. It is estimated that by 2020 and 2030, the net energy input in Central China will reach 505 million tons of standard coal and 785 million tons of standard coal, and the external dependence of energy will rise to 43% and 47%. The contradiction of power coal supply shortage will exist for a long time
in addition, the single structure of high-capacity power supply and the insufficient power receiving capacity outside the region also exacerbated the power shortage in Central China. Although central China power operates in conjunction with the surrounding regional power, the power transmission in winter is from North China and Northwest China to central China power, and central China power to East China and South China. In winter, the power transmission capacity of North China and Northwest China is insufficient. At present, the power transmission capacity is only 3.81 million KW, which cannot make up for the power gap of central China power and fundamentally solve the problem
it was not until the successful power transmission of UHV AC test demonstration project that the contradiction of power shortage in Central China was effectively alleviated. It is reported that on January 6, 2009, Jindongnan Nanyang Jingmen UHV AC test demonstration project was officially put into operation, marking that China's power development has entered a new stage marked by UHV. For more than a year, the test demonstration project has withstood the test of severe weather such as lightning, high temperature and severe cold. The system operates stably and the equipment status is normal. The cumulative power transmission has exceeded 10billion kwh, which fully verifies the feasibility, safety and superiority of UHV power transmission

UHV has become a power transmission highway
the layout of China's energy resources and productivity development is uneven. 76% of the retained reserves of coal resources are distributed in the northern region, 80% of hydropower resources are distributed in the western region, land wind energy is mainly concentrated in the northern region, and more than 2/3 of the power demand is concentrated in the central and eastern regions, which objectively determines that China must take the road of long-distance, large-scale and high-efficiency transmission
Sichuan: the advantage of ultra-high voltage hydropower transmission to the East is obvious.
solve the tension contradiction between the mechanical connection of steel bars for coal, electricity and oil transportation jgj107 ⑵ 003 33 upsetting straight ribbed steel bar joints, and make full use of clean hydropower resources. Liushoupei, deputy to the National People's Congress and mayor of Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, said that hydropower is a clean and renewable energy and an energy resource encouraged and prioritized by the state. Located in the southwest of China, Sichuan is rich in hydropower resources, with a theoretical reserve of 145 million KW and a technical exploitable capacity of 121 million KW, accounting for about 27% of the country and ranking first in the country. Developing and utilizing Sichuan's abundant hydropower resources, building important hydropower bases, implementing the west to East power transmission, and participating in the national energy balance are the established energy development strategies of the country
to make full use of clean hydropower resources, we need to completely change the mode of power development, optimize the layout of power sources, give priority to the development of transmission, and speed up the construction of long-distance, high-power transmission of strong electricity. UHV power has the advantages of large transmission capacity, long transmission distance, high stability level, good reliability, small loss, less land occupation (7) saving and printing experimental results. Especially, it is imperative to build UHV power in Sichuan, which has a vast territory, numerous nature reserves, harsh geographical environment and scarce channel station site resources. Liushoupei said that the hydropower projects under construction in Sichuan, such as Xiluodu, Xiangjiaba, Jinping cascade and Guandi, have an installed capacity of nearly 30million kW. If 500 kV power transmission is adopted, 30 circuit lines are required, but only 5 circuit lines are required if 800 kV DC UHV is adopted. Therefore, UHV transmission has obvious advantages in efficiency, environmental protection and economy, which can effectively solve the problem of unbalanced distribution of power resources and power demand
Shanxi: transform simple coal transportation into coal transportation and power transmission at the same time
during the 2009 two sessions of the National People's Congress, Li Xiaopeng, deputy to the National People's Congress and vice governor of Shanxi Province, has proposed to speed up the construction of Shanxi coal power base and realize the export of Shanxi power. He said that Shanxi is rich in coal resources and is an important energy base in China. However, due to technical and other reasons, the outward transportation of coal used to rely mainly on railways and highways. Such a simple way of energy transmission makes the assurance of energy security relatively poor. A large amount of coal is transported by road, which uses high-grade energy gasoline and diesel to transport low-grade energy. It has low efficiency, heavy pollution and poor benefits. We should actively promote the construction of power supply, electricity and other projects, strive to achieve the work goal of Shanxi power transmission as soon as possible, and change the simple coal transportation into coal transportation and power transmission
