Sharp recycles waste plastics from household appliances
sharp has established a technology that can buy polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS) recycled from imported instrument electricity (air conditioners, televisions, refrigerators and washing machines) with longer service life from four categories of waste homes. The strength and quality of polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS) will not be affected by a 12.7% increase (Q3 2013: 733 million euros), and will be used again in the above four categories of household appliances
the "Kansai recycling system company" jointly invested and built by five household appliance companies in Japan will use this technology to regenerate waste PP and PS. the safety factor of Xia products is 6 times. Pu has officially adopted these recycled materials in new products since May. It is estimated that in 2003, the total use of air conditioners and refrigerators will reach 120 tons; 200 tons will be used in washing machines (the amount of plastic used in televisions is very small, which is ignored)
with this technology, the service life of recycled waste PP and PS materials can be tested within one hour (it used to take an average of 20 days). In addition, by adding antioxidant, the service life of waste PP and PS can be extended and reused as recycled materials. The quality (strength, etc.) of regenerated PP and PS is roughly the same as that of pure PP and PS, and can be regenerated and used repeatedly. There is no difference between the cost and the newly processed materials. Sharp is applying for 11 patents on this technology
